You don't need your own dog but you probably need to like them! We are a people and dog-friendly group, typically taking a 2-3 hour walk with 25-30 people (and 25-30 dogs!) every other weekend in Gloucestershire or nearby. We also have evening walks in the summer, plus activities like canoeing and camping.
Gloucestershire Walking with Dogs is run as a voluntary, amateur social group (your Meetup membership terms include a release of liability for group organisers). Think of it as joining a group of friends for a walk, where you are responsible for the safety and actions of yourself and your dogs.
Like any responsible walker, we expect everyone to close gates, put dogs on leads around livestock, and take other reasonable steps to stay safe and be courteous to landowners and other users of the areas we visit.

Cam Peak Bluebell and Full Moon (3.5 Miles)
Cam Long Down Carpark, GL11 5HH, Gloucester, GBPlease bring a torch if you can.
The walk can be found here: Cam Peak & Cam Long Down
This walk is 3.5 miles, This walk is short but STEEP up to the summit of Cam Peak. The circular walk then takes us along Cam Long Down over to Uley Bury. The route back to the start takes us along a woodland path so please check yourself and dogs for ticks.
The car park is free but small so numbers are limited - please car share where possible.
