We will meet in Las Palmas in the main bus station (San Telmo estación de guaguas), on platform 18, to take the Global bus 216 to Teror leaving at 10am, arriving in Teror at 10:37. There are frequent buses from all parts of Las Palmas to San Telmo estación de Guaguas.

Tamaraceite, where the hike will finish, is a barrio of Las Palmas, and there are several possible Global or Guaguas Municipales bus lines which we can take from there back to the centre of Las Palmas.

If you want to use the GPS track for the hike provided above, you just need to install a GPS app on any smartphone. Among the best GPS apps to use in Gran Canaria (i.e. that come with some useful maps for our island) are https://www.locusmap.eu/download/ and https://www.twonav.com/en/downloads.

This event is free. It will be limited to 17 participants to keep the group more convivial and easier to manage. RSVPs will open at 8pm on Wednesday.

Pack a picnic lunch and at least one litre of water.

This event will be postponed or cancelled if there is a risk of significant rain.

In order to participate you must have a name on your profile with contains at least your first name in clear. Whether you already have a place or are still in the waiting list, if you later change your mind about coming, then it is very important that you change your RSVP, so another member can participate instead and you don't receive a "no show" mark for this event.
