Talk: Kubernetes, simplifying developer’s life
Laura Morillo, from Seedtag, will explain how as a software developer it is difficult to be up to date with everything new related to development and systems. But when you start working in a startup you need to learn a bit of everything! In this talk we will see the different tools that Kubernetes provides to help us to create easily an escalable infrastructure for our applications.
Talk: Going Meta with Elixir
Eric Meadows, from Cabify Engineering Team, will talk about why a modern programming language needs to extendable. Elixir is a functional language that uses meta-programming to allow libraries to build expressive APIs and domain specific languages without extending the language itself. In this talk we will introduce Elixir and look at some of tools in the standard library and community and how they use Elixir’s meta-programming capabilities.
