The Secret Meetup
Back by popular demand: **The Secret Meetup**, a (hopefully) semi-monthly board game night at The Secret Lantern Books & Games in Cedar Park! It’s called The Secret Meetup, so you probably shouldn’t tell anyone 🤫 *(…but you should absolutely tell people though)*.
We’re a safe, friendly, inclusive, and diverse group. New players are always welcome — we’re happy to teach games and help you find a table.
🕕 Games start at 6:00 pm and go until 10:00 pm.
📅 Monday, April 6. We're working with the hosts to set up a firm recurring schedule--stay tuned for more info.
📍The Secret Lantern Books and Games in Cedar Park. Housed in a former bank, this shop is now the very definition of “cozy.” Think comfy upholstered furniture, warm lighting, and tucked-away corners, perfect for settling into a long game. And yes — there’s a Vault Room, complete with massive steel door and spinning wheel handle, now reborn as one of the coolest places around to plot your next heist— err, *move*.
⏰ Good to know:
• You’re welcome to arrive earlier to hang out or play, but games will *definitely* start at 6:00 pm.
• The store opens at 10:00 am — if you want to make a whole game day of it, leave a comment!
• Coffee drinks and light food are available for purchase at the store — please support our host venue.
🎲 What to bring:
• Your favorite board games (optional)
• Or just bring yourself — there’s always room to join in
Whether you’re brand new to board games or a seasoned player, come roll some dice, learn something new, and enjoy a great Monday night with awesome people.
Mindful Mondays: Meditation, Energy Healing, & Psychic Fun
Co-creation Mondays are about reconnecting each of us with our own divinity and own inner creator, so we can live a more intentional life. That is exactly what we want.
When we come together as a group, the energetic impact of this can magnify our intentions, and open us up to even greater inspiration for what we would like to have happen in life.
These events are designed to allow for greater collaboration and connection within the conscious community and those adjacent to it while also empowering each individual to step more powerfully into their own life.
No prior experience is needed for these events.
Nor is any religious or spiritual affiliation, needed, though you will be guided based on what Chris has found to be true in his own studies of consciousness, spirituality, co-creation (sometimes called manifestation or law of attraction), various religions, and self improvement modalities.
These events are currently by modest contribution (\~$15 is appreciated but bring or share as you can) to help support the space and keep a clean karmic energetic exchange.
This is a karma-free event. There are also additional energy tools Chris uses to set the space before and after event, so that enhancement, inspiration, and alignment are what each participant walks away with.
If this resonates, we hope to see you at an event soon!
More people will be in attendance than on this RSVP. More than a dozen are at events. You will be in good company :)
We begin on time. If you're running behind, quietly find an available seat if the meditation has begun.
# **Agenda**
#### **6:30pm: Doors Open**
Arrive, grab a bottled water or sparkling water, meet others, and/or check out some of the books laid out related to metaphysics and intuition.
#### **7pm: Intention-setting and Meditation**
We start with brief introductions & intention setting then hop into a guided grounding meditation (about 12-15 min)
#### **7:30pm: Intuitive Fun/Exploration**
We will shift into a dynamic part of the evening when we do mini experiments in developing intuitive abilities. Previous times have included telekinesis, telepathy, energy healing, and practicing seeing/sensing the subtle energy body.
#### **8pm: Social and Connection**
Make new friends or enhance current relationships. This is a fun part of the evening where we can laugh and better know each other. Also a great time for inspiration and learning something new!
#### **8:30pm: Parting Ways**
At 8:30pm, we gather for a quick karma clearing exercise (takes 90 seconds) and then people head out. Sometimes people stick around a bit longer. Sometimes there's an invite to get food or go to another place. But it's a nice send off til we see each other again!

Coffee and Craft
Join us for Monday morning coffee, crafting and conversation! Bring what ever portable project you are working on. If you are new to the craft there are usually folks to help you learn. There are a variety of coffee and tea items and a tiny selection of pastry items.
Pineview Coffee Company is a small yet spacious coffee shop on the 1st floor inside the Aspen Lake Amenity building. There is only a small sign by the door that has the name of the coffee shop so it can be a little challenging to find.
Hope to see you there!
PS unofficially part of this group meets here every Monday so come what ever week you can.

Founder-Led Sales for Startups
Winning the first million dollars in revenue is the absolute hardest thing for any start-up.
And if you're an introverted founder, an engineer who loves getting into the nitty gritty details of each feature, or someone new to selling, building a sales pitch and pipeline may be an even bigger challenge.
The goal for early start-ups remains the same -- create momentum and generate revenue.
In this class, you’ll learn strategies and techniques that you can start applying today to:
* Develop and strengthen your talk track
* Generate leads and
* win new clients.
Some of the exercises require spontaneous thinking (yes, we call on folks) but the panel provides feedback (the goal — constructive ways to improve as well as compliments) so you learn and grow.
This may sound hard, but remember, we all improve with “batting practice.”
Oh, btw, we’ll also jump into my favorite exercise — how to pitch a CEO cold about your company and win a meeting.
Please arrive early as the agenda is packed and we plan to start on time.
*Many thanks to our friends at **Station Austin** for sponsoring Founder-Led Sales for Startups.*
*Station Austin is the center of gravity for entrepreneurs in Texas.*
*They meet the best entrepreneurs in Texas & introduce them to their first investors, employees, mentors, and customers.*
*To sign up for a Station Austin coworking membership, [click here](https://capital-factory.officernd.com/signup?office=5d1bcda0dbd6e40010479eec).*
**First-timers, please note:**
* Capital Factory / Station Austin is in the OMNI building at the intersection of 7th Street and Brazos St. The building has entrances on 3 streets (7th St, Brazos St, and 8th St). You can enter from any street. Do not be surprised to see a hotel inside the building. The elevators are in the middle of the lobby.
* Please check the event page for the details on the event room and which floor it is on. The event venue may change depending on the availability and number of people attending, so always check the event page for the correct information. If it is on any floor other than the 1st, please read the note about the elevators below.
* The elevators may be confusing for first-timers. Each elevator is marked by an alphabet (A-F) that sticks above the corresponding elevator. Each elevator also has a touch panel to select the floor. Just select the floor you need to go to on any touch panel and it will show on the panel which elevator (A/B/C, etc.) is ready to go up to that floor. Just walk into that elevator and get off where the doors open which will be the floor you selected in the panel earlier.
* Feel free to walk in at any time during the event. We understand that people are busy and may be unable to make it to the events in time.
* If in doubt, always ask the people at the front desk (on any floor) for help.
