Tell us all about your spontaneous decisions that led to memorable outcomes. If you couldn't make it to our previous pitch workshops, here is another opportunity for you! The *On a whim* live storytelling show is on Wednesday, 24th June. If you’ve got a story or just an idea in mind, come to one of our pitch workshops at the end of May. If your story is shortlisted for the show, our host will work with you as you polish and rehearse it. 📌 Story Requirements: * Your story must be true * It must be told in the first person—you are the main character * It should be between 5-10 minutes You don't need to have a completed or polished story ready - just a beginning idea is okay. This workshop is open to individuals at all levels, first-timers or old hands. The purpose of Hong Kong Stories is to help you become a better storyteller. Everyone has a story to tell, and everyone loves a story. Note: Please update your RSVP, ideally 12 hours before the event if you're unable to make it. Five players took part in our monthly online tournament last Monday--a small number, but a very close finish and some wild exciting games! Next Monday we're back to our face-to-face meeting at the Trafalgar--word is that a couple of members are bringing new people to play, so the turnout is looking strong! All levels of backgammon skill are welcome, including beginners! We offer free lessons to people who are interested in learning. People with experience can play friendly matches among each other.
