**PGT Reels: Scottish Reeling in London Teaching & Social Session** If you love the energy of a ceilidh, reeling is the perfect "level up." Welcoming complete beginners and experienced dancers alike to our fortnightly teaching & social evenings in South Kensington. Join our friendly community of around 80 mostly young professionals who come as much for the social side as the dancing — it's the perfect midweek mix of learning something new, meeting great people, and having a brilliant night out for only £9 (drinks & snacks included!). **No experience or partner needed** — committee members are on hand to help and do walkthroughs during breaks. We play with feather shuttles and welcome intermediate (minimum 2 years playing) to advanced players. We play fast paced games, but we are also very friendly helping each other to improve. **CLASS CANCELED TOMORROW, THE 22ND APRIL 2026, DUE TO TUBE STRIKE** Script Reading, Improvisation, Voice Projection, Games, Public Speaking and audition techniques will be some of the points covered over the coming terms. Drama is ideal for building confidence, helping with articulation and developing presentation skills. It is also a lot of fun! The classes have built up over the last five years and are run by Mario Renzullo, who was an original member of the famed Anna Scher Theatre and made his professional debut in 1970, and went on to have many lead TV, film and theatre roles. Mario founded the theatrical agency Smart Management, which has been running for over twenty years. The classes are open to a wide age range and welcome those new to acting as well as those with professional acting experience. About Beltane: At Beltane (May eve) the land is at it’s most lush and green, and fertile. In the God-Goddess myths, this is when the playful God is said to commit to the Goddess – which is symbolised by the Sacred Marriage! The Maypole dance that is traditional at this time symbolises the fertile powers of the masculine, penetrating the land, and the ribbons danced and woven around it lock that power! A ring of flower at the tip of the Maypole signifies the feminine. Magical working with the Fay (Fairies) is an important feature at this time. We have a Strict NO DRUGS or Substances policy! Come along on Saturday 25th April for a coach trip to the ancient sites of Stonehenge, Avebury and Uffington White Horse! **About the day** We are travelling by coach to visit some of England's oldest & mystical sites, two in Wiltshire and one in Oxfordshire. **Stonehenge** Stonehenge started to be built in 3100BC and is today one of the most famous sites in the world. At the site, I will tell you more about Stonehenge and why its there. Options when we arrive at Stonehenge: * pay to take the mini-bus down the road to view it close up, about 4 metres away (it costs £25 to do this, pay when you arrive). If you are an English Heritage or National Trust member its free to get the mini-bus. * The rest of us will walk the 1 mile down the road and view it from the wire fence (about 5 or 6 metres away) for free. **Avebury** Avebury is about 20 miles north of Stonehenge, it dates to about 2800BC and is the largest stone circle in Europe. Its free to walk on the site, which covers over 281 acres and you can even touch the stones! I will guide you round the site telling your about the stones. Its free to view the stones. **Uffington White Horse** Uffington White Horse is a huge chalk drawing on the top of a hill which dates back to 900BC. It was probably a tribal symbol, as the remains of Uffington Fort lies behind it. The site is the highest point in Oxfordshire and gives stunning views across the countryside. I will tell you more about the site when we are there.
