Hello again! After a long hiatus, the Monday meet up at Nanny O’Briens is back! We’ll have some games to play, but feel free to bring your favorites as well. Stop by for a game and a drink, and say hello! We’ll be in the back room. Other info: Nanny O'Brien's is allowing us to use their back room for some board game socializing. Please reciprocate their generosity by purchasing food and drinks. Free street parking starts at 6:30 in most areas (make sure to read the signs). If you're taking the metro, take the red line to Cleveland Park and walk two blocks southwest on Connecticut (we are located next to CVS).

Open play up to 18 people, all skill levels. Bring your friends or potential new members, bring a BBQ, (we have a lot of BBQ’s over the summer) your dog and cat, your good times and your laughter too.

Join a relaxed and welcoming French conversation group on Capitol Hill. These informal gatherings are open to all levels, from beginners to fluent speakers, with the goal of practicing French in a supportive, low-pressure environment. We aim to speak French as much as possible, but it’s completely okay to slip into English when needed. Whether you’re looking to build confidence, maintain your skills, or connect with others who love the language, this is a friendly space to learn and converse together.

In addition you get to meet and interact with other participants. At game time, your host will read off Trivia questions. Your goal is to come up with the right answer to each question and write it down on your paper. Once the round is over (about 6 questions), we will go through the answers and determine who had the highest score for the round. They will get a raffle ticket for a chance to win a prize at the end of the event. We will have multiple rounds of play and have a system to also virtually introduce you to other participants. Dear group members. I am trying to coordinate another movie night. For next week I found a new release called “Star Wars- The Madalorian & Grogu” . Please let me hear back from you about going out to the movies. The movie tickets at the Regal theaters are only $10 on Tuesdays. Please let me know about your interest and I will keep you updated with details. Should you have questions please just ask. Once I get a positive response from any person about joining me I will purchase a ticket and post the details here and send out the details. Is the force strong with you?
