In diesem dreistündigen Workshop sind alle Interessierten mit und ohne Vorkenntnisse dazu eingeladen, verschiedene Maker Space Technologien kennenzulernen. Wir erklären an unterschiedlichen Terminen (s.u.), wie sich mit Laser Cutter, 3D-Drucker, Schneidplotter, Näh- oder Stickmaschine nützliche Dinge für den Alltag herstellen lassen. Life-drawing on the first and third Saturday morning in the month held in my studio in the Rhinower Str 10. One hour of short poses ( the length of a song from an eclectic playlist) a 20 minute or so break while we look at the work and compare techniques and exchange tips on materials while drinking a well-earned tea or coffee with a freshly-baked muffin, then another hour of drawing. In the second half, for those who wish I also roll up a plate with ink to monoprint direct from the model. You will go home with a lot of drawings and prints, new ideas and some new techniques. A perfect way to kick off the weekend!! Cost 30€. Bring your own drawing materials. I supply ink, palettes, water jars and rags. Beginners very welcome!!

This group is for everyone who is interested in drawing portraits! For me, drawing has been a wonderful way to gain a new perspective on the world and the people within it. Whether you are just starting out or have been drawing for ages — all levels are welcome :) How it works: 1\. We meet at The Castle pub in Mitte and do short sittings of 15 minutes for each other\. The first sitting is divided into 3 warm\-up sketches\, 5 minutes each\. 2\. Before we start\, everybody writes their name on a blank card \(provided by the organizer\); these cards are then used to randomly pick the model every 15 minutes\. 3\. Usually we do 8 sittings\, with a 15\-minute break in the middle \(so after 4 sittings\, or 1 hour\)\. -> The participation is free, but it is expected that everybody orders something from the bar to support the lovely location.
