Now STREAMING on YouTube! The Documentary Film "The Phenomenon Bruno Gröning"!
The Documentary film "The Phenomenon Bruno Gröning" -- (On the Tracks of the "Miracle Healer") is now permanently streaming on YouTube!
It chronicles the life, work, and teaching of Bruno Gröning.
In 1949 the name Bruno Gröning dominated the headlines. Everywhere that he appeared, hundreds, thousands, even tens of thousands of people flocked to see him. They came from all over the world including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, France, and even the USA.
Those who flocked to see him, were sick & injured people. For many it was their last ray of hope. Beaten down by the war, given up on by doctors, they had only one wish, to become healthy again and be free from pain and suffering. Bruno Gröning could help them, and he did! "There is no incurable -- God is the greatest physician!" were his words. Then the unfathomable happened: innumerable people became healthy again!
THE DOCUMENTARY FILM:
"THE PHENOMENON BRUNO GRöNING"
On the Tracks of the "Miracle Healer"
The film shows the dramatic events of that time objectively. The film includes original footage and sound, archived material, over 50 eyewitness interviews, and large-scale re-enactment scenes. All of these aspects make the film a deeply impressive experience.
This film, however, is more than a documented glimpse into the past. Many viewers have reported that they suddenly felt a power, a tingling, a current running in their bodies while watching the film. For most of them, this is a completely new experience. Some have even reported the disappearance of pain, handicaps, and other forms of suffering.
How is that possible when Bruno Gröning died in 1959? The tumult over him has long since past but even today, unusual healings occur through this teaching. Healings from cancer, angina pectoris, rheumatoid arthritis, and osteoporosis, as well as healing from drug and other addictions have occurred. These successes have also been documented & verified by medical physicians. Below is a trailer for the film and a 30-minute documentary celebrating the 10th anniversary of the film, as well as links to the entire film in various languages.

This is a film that everyone should see!
Bruno Gröning himself said, "Don't be gullible, convince yourself!"
If you would also like to attend an introduction to the teaching of Bruno Gröning, please send me a message and I will get in touch with one of our local group leaders who will schedule one for you. Currently, introductions are being held over the phone, one on one. After attending an in person or over the phone introduction, you can then attend our regular meetings where we practice the teaching and share our experiences. Of course, our regular in person meetings are temporarily also on hold, but we are able to meet online through our web portal, which you can register for after your formal introduction. We hope to see you in person or online, soon!
Wishing you all the best,

B-Minus Fridays!
Down in Front moved over to Twitch at the beginning of the Pandemic, and quickly became a weekly, unscripted show we affectionally refer to as "B-Minus" (as in, the movies we watch are B-movies or worse). We've run the gamut of hidden gems from overproduced to charmingly inept, from painfully bad to so-bad-it's-good, and somehow time continued passing and 100 shows somehow just zipped by.
we'll be at www.Twitch.tv/downinfrontlive starting at 8 for a Cinematic Rehabilitation you can enjoy in the comfort of your own home, from the comfort of our homes.

This is a group for respectfully and passionately discussing all of the big issues of the day. We can talk about local, national, and global issues. Religion, politics, race, culture, sexuality, and all those subjects that you're not supposed to talk about are free game here.
I would like to see a nice mixture of people that call themselves liberals, conservatives, and everything in between.
You don't need a Ph.D. in political science just an opinion and a good attitude.
I live in the West Valley.

City Lights (1931)
"The SOB is a ballet dancer. He’s the best ballet dancer that ever lived, and if I get a good chance I’ll kill him with my bare hands." - W.C. Fields
In *City Lights*, Chaplin's Little Tramp meets a blind girl selling flowers who mistakes him for a wealthy man. When he learns that an operation may restore her sight, he sets off to earn the money she needs to have the surgery. He also befriends an alcoholic millionaire who only recognizes him when he is drunk. When the blind girl and her grandmother fall behind in the rent and face eviction, he tries working and even enters a boxing competition to raise the money they need.
Regarded as Chaplin's masterpiece, *City Lights* has been ranked on more than seventeen "100 greatest movies of all time" lists. Orson Welles cited it as his favorite picture.
*City Lights* is available for streaming on Amazon Prime, Hulu, HBOMax, Tubi and PlutoTV. The Columbus Library lists three copies on blu-ray and eight copies on DVD. Watch the movie on your own, then join us upstairs at East Market to discuss the film.
If you want more, *Unknown Chaplin* is a three-episode lost-footage documentary available on Youtube. It covers his time on *City Lights* beginning at the twenty-six minute mark of episode two: https://youtu.be/f8960Uc15hI?t=1558
Disc Tues / BAFTA Winner: I SWEAR at Marcus Crosswoods!
Join us as we get together to see the BAFTA-winning British biographical dark-comedy/drama, I SWEAR! The film is based on the true-life story of a Scottish man diagnosed with Tourette’s syndrome at an early age. Here are details, a trailer and our plan for this event:
DESCRIPITON: This true-life story follows a Scottish man diagnosed with Tourette's at 15. Targeted as 'insane' by his peers, he struggled with a condition few had witnessed. In search of his life’s purpose, he began campaigning for better understanding and acceptance of the condition of Tourette's as an adult.
The film is written/directed/produced by Kirk Jones and stars Robert Aramayo, Maxine Peake, Shirley Henderson and Peter Mullan.
TRAILER: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oeWqQN3snCU
BUZZ & ACCLAIM: I Swear currently has an incredible 100% positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes, which says: “A deft balance of prickly and sweet that's bound together by Robert Aramayo's knockout performance, I Swear doesn't sugarcoat the challenges of Tourette syndrome while delivering an uplifting tale of resilience.” Others call it, “"funny, fierce and full of heart!” The film was released earlier in the UK making it eligible for this year’s BAFTA’s where it won Best Casting and Best Lead Actor for Robert Aramayo. The film and Robert Aramayo's performance will be eligible for next year’s Oscars!
PLAN: We’ll plan for a 7pm-ish showing and will meet in the bar area about 30 minutes before showtime! Once details are confirmed, advance ticket purchase is advised! Details will be confirmed/announced as the date gets closer.
Should be a good one, Dan
Unknown Number: The High School Catfish
A very unusual choice for his group... Unknown Number: High School Catfish is an American [true crime](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/True_crime "True crime") documentary film directed by [Skye Borgman](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skye_Borgman "Skye Borgman") and released to [streaming](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Streaming_media "Streaming media") on [Netflix](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netflix "Netflix") on August 29, 2025.
The documentary explores the events and investigation into an unknown person [cyberbully](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyberbullying "Cyberbullying") and [harassing](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harassment "Harassment") teenagers in [Beal City, Michigan](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beal_City,_Michigan "Beal City, Michigan") using an unknown number via insults and sexual claims. It also explores the increasingly great impact of the harassment on the community, the eventual reveal of the culprit, and the trial that followed.
IMPORTANT INFO: I strongly suggest not reading anything about it online before seeing it. It's best viewed with no previous knowledge. This documentary contains crude terminology and deals with cyberbullying, which may be a trigger for some folks.
PLEASE NOTE - WE ARE STARTING AT 6:30, WHICH IS THIRTY MINUTES EARLIER THAN USUAL.
