**Acompáñenos en esta hermosa ruta que nos permitirá conocer gran parte del Macizo del Montgrí.** Este macizo calcáreo de baja altitud separa las dos comarcas ampurdanesas y se funde en el mar con las Islas Medas. Culmina con el Castillo del Montgrí del siglo XIII, una fortaleza militar medieval a la que llegaremos a través de la Creu de Santa Caterina. Desde las Torres del Castillo se disfruta de una vista panorámica privilegiada de las Islas Medas, los dos valles del Ampordà, Els Angles, Les Alberes y el Golfo de Roses, entre otros. Más adelante, pasaremos por la Ermita de Santa Caterina del siglo XIV. A lo largo de la ruta encontraremos construcciones de los siglos XVII y XVIII, principalmente hornos de cal y barracones de piedra seca.
