Create Your Own Workshop
What would YOU like to learn next?
Create Your Own Online or in-person Workshop
Some topics could be: Workflow, Photo Critique, Portfolio Review, Creating a website, Sharing photographs, Instagram, Aperture, Shutter Speed, Manual mode, PS, Layers, ACR, Masking, Importing images into LR, The LR develop module, Reducing Noise, ETTR [expose to the right], Tom or I will spend time with you getting your photography skills to the next level. Sessions can be via Zoom, or in the field (travel extra), or at our Studio (if you are vaccinated and boosted).
You can create your own workshop to improve any aspect of photography that you desire. Two hours $199
\*\*\*\* Please note: this is NOT happening every Monday night, this is a Meetup engine artifact, we will arrange a mutually agreeable time \*\*\*\*
Photo Critiques (60-90 minute session): You send us \~10 images to be reviewed. Then we will find a mutually compatible time to meet via Zoom to discuss your work. We will have a conversation -- you get to tell me about where you want to grow and be as an artist, about why you chose these ten images, about how do you approach your photography, etc. Session includes time for the conversation, time for my review of your images, time for your questions, time for feedback about camera settings/composition/focus/or post-processing needs and goals. Please also send the SOOC (straight out of the camera) files too for post-processing suggestions. I will send you a link to send the large vias through, so no worries about sending large files via email, just click and drop your images onto the link. After our live session, you will receive the recorded session for you to keep.
Westchester Area RPG Society (WARS) Monthly Meeting
The purpose of the meetup is to chat about RPG stuff, play RPGs together whenever possible, and give Gamemsasters and Players a way to informally meet and greet each other, talk about RPG stuff, and help to facilitate introducing players to games in the area. If you are a GM with open slots at your table this would be a good venue to meet perspective new players. Just post a RSVP and tell the group a little bit about your game so players can get an idea of what you're up to.
Or feel free to drop in and chat about D&Dish stuff. If you are interested in alternative RPGs like some Indie Games or Traveler, or whatever version of D&D from Edition 1 onward, feel free to drop in. We're open to any RPG type games.
I'll try to remember to have a sign up stating that this is us which will say "Westchester Area RPG Society (WARS)!!", but do look around for us ... Modern Myths is not a huge store, and we generally will be sitting at the tables in the back of the store.
Also, please note - a minimum of three members need to RSVP 24 hours in advance for us to hold the meeting. Otherwise the meeting is postponed until next time. I also encourage members to spark up interest by expressing your RPG interests in your RSVP and encouraging others to attend the meeting as well.

FREE WEBINAR: How to Outsource Development of Your App
This event is organized by TechSpeak.
Our meetup group is collaborating by promoting this event.
This event is FREE to attend!
In order to attend, please register here:
https://www.techspeakforentrepreneurs.com/outsource/?utm=ideatoipo
(Registrants will receive login info right before the start of the event.)
If you are a non-technical person with an idea for an app, you’re probably looking for a technical co-founder to help you build the app.
However, you can launch a tech startup by outsourcing code!
In the early days of your startup it can be challenging to attract a technical co-founder to build your app. But by knowing how to efficiently outsource the building of your MVP and gain some traction, you can de-risk the opportunity for the tech person and change the conversation from "I Need You" to "Here's an Opportunity".
In this webinar, the speaker will discuss the best way to outsource the development of your app, including:
1) Why outsourcing may be the best way to find a technical co-founder
2) Outsourcing best practices
3) How not get ripped off in the process
and more!

Nelly Yusupova is a CTO, with over 18 years experience, leading companies to technical excellence. She is a startup tech advisor, outsourced CTO, and the creator of TechSpeak for Entrepreneurs.

There is a difference between releasing code and releasing code effectively and efficiently. That difference is having an efficient process
- a repeatable way to produce consistent results over and over again.
In this webinar, Nelly Yusupova, a CTO with 18 years of experience, a startup tech advisor, and the founder of TechSpeak for Entrepreneurs, will share the process she uses to manage teams and projects to deliver projects on time and on budget.
You will learn:
1) The lean way vs. traditional way of building products
2) Two money saving things you should do before you build anything
3) How to define your MVP properly to reduce the cost and time of development
4) How to see the red flags sooner and minimize mistakes
and more!
Please come with your questions and scenarios.

What If Your AI Could Be a Team? - Chad Green
**Important time note:** Please plan on arriving between 5:30 and 6:00 as the elevators lock after 6 and you'll need to message us and we'll need to come get you.
The building address is 4450 Bridge Park
The entrance is 6620 Mooney St, Suite 400
You will need to scan your ID at the door to get a visitor badge.
**Abstract**
GitHub Copilot is powerful, but what if you could scale from a solo AI assistant to an entire team of specialized agents working in parallel? This session introduces Squad: an open-source framework for multi-agent orchestration that lets you define teams of AI agents with specific roles, responsibilities, and expertise.
We'll progress from Copilot basics to the Copilot CLI, explore how Agents add autonomy, and see how Instructions and Skills let you customize agent behavior. Then, the climax: a live demo where a Squad team of 3 agents (Lead, Developer, Tester) stands up and builds a working application in real-time, showcasing true multi-agent collaboration.
Whether you're new to AI or exploring how to scale your use of Copilot, this session will show you what's possible when agents work as a team.

Casual Boardgames - make friends, then beat them in games
Welcome to Casual Boardgames, where we enjoy classic tabletop games and social deduction games while bonding over good food, drinks, and great conversations.
We started this group to meet new people and make new friends, and bonding over games in a relaxed atmosphere is a great way to do that.
We currently meet near route 23 and Polaris Parkway, and this is close to areas like Powell, Lewis Center, Worthington, and parts of Westerville and Columbus.
Feel free to bring your own games or play one of the many games our members bring. If you are inexperienced, we will help you learn.
Here are just a few examples of the kind of games we play.
Tabletop/board games: Splendor, Catan, Azul, Dominion, 7 Wonders…
Social deduction games: Code Names, Chameleon, Werewords…
IMPORTANT:
1. While we love playing a variety of games and competing, we are not just about the games. We interact and talk while playing, and this leads to a lot of laughter and fun. If you just want to compete and focus solely on the game, then this is probably not the group you are looking for.
2. Many people join groups like this and never (or rarely) show up after weeks or months. If you join and never really come, we will eventually remove you from the group as a courtesy to our members. Why? Because limiting group conversations (on the app) to regular members makes communication and planning much easier. Also, while it may be rare, it protects members from people who join because they are interested in following a person instead of having a real interest in our group. If you get removed, it is just because you haven’t come, and we follow this protocol as a courtesy to our regular game players.

Board games at The Forge
This week is Twos-day on a Wednesday. Bring your favorite 2 player games and be ready to teach some and learn others. We'll bounce around and get to know new people and new games. Think speed dating but without the stress, romance or dating! And we don't judge, if you'd prefer to stick to bigger games by all means, go for it!
The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~$20 per person. Soft drink refills are $1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group!
The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play.
Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes.
We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. Thank you for your continued commitment to providing a fun and welcoming space to veteran, newbie, and rookie gamers in the Columbus area.
Parking can be challenging. There is a parking lot behind the neighboring Mexican restaurant that is free and easy to walk from but it's a bit hidden.
Columbus Code & Coffee 85 @ Improving
Columbus Code & Coffee is an inclusive, informal co-working session. People of all skill levels attend, and we love it that way. Many people (optionally) bring projects to work on, and many other people (optionally) socialize the entire time. It's entirely up to you!
**What to Expect at the Intro Circle**
\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~
Near the beginning of the event (1:30 pm), we do a standup:
* Organizer announcements, updates, and logistics
Round 1 - (7 secs max):
* Your name
* What you're working on
* What you can help others with
Round 2:
* Community events you wanna plug. If none, that's cool too.
Round 3:
* Job opportunities you're hiring for OR announce that you are looking for one. If none, that's cool.
After the introduction circle, everything is self-organized! Feel free to work alone, pair up, attend one of our workshops/presentations, or mingle!
