Weekly Zen Meditation meetings followed by a talk and Q&A session. Duration 1-hour. Led by Sensei Ryuko, a Soto Zen Priest and a Master Zen Teacher in various traditions. Our practice is based on the Japanese Soto tradition, but combines this with our background in Rinzai (koan work), Korean and Vietnamese Zen practices. All welcome regardless of experience, and particularly welcome if you share our community spirit that helping ourselves is as important as helping others. We typically sit for just 10 minutes, then a talk followed by discussion. This is a very lively group that discusses a wide range of Zen-related issues and questions.
