Pathfinder Society plays in Dragon's Lair Comics and Fantasy every Monday and Thursday! We're up to 6-7 tables playing and room for more! So come join in the fun! **IMPORTANT:** Due to construction at our previous meeting location which closed down the parking lot we've temporarily moved the starting location to **Brushy Creek Lake Park**. The relevant information has been updated to reflect this. Join us for our **recurring** scenic **6.6-mile (10.6-km)** evening at the Brushy Creek Regional Trail in Cedar Park! We’ll take a relaxed pace through one of the city’s most beautiful trails. The hike should take about **2 hours**. **ℹ️ Additional info** The purpose of this specific event is to have a recurring way for us to meet relatively easily. I want to make sure that recurring events are a "low effort" commitment, ie you don't have to drive 2 hours to get there. In the future once we have more organizers I plan to have more recurring events scheduled so we can cover a larger area. Also, you may have noticed that **this event has an RSVP limit**. This is done for multiple reasons. Option 1 (and the one I'll be seeing) is the top-reviewed comedy-drama, THE CHRISTOPHERS! The film is set in the art world and follows the estranged children of a former artist who hire a forger. It is directed by Steven Soderberg, stars Ian McKellen and Michaela Coel and has been earning rave reviews on the indie circuit. Option 2 is the latest action-thriller starring Bob Odenkirk, NORMAL! The film follows a temporary small-town sheriff who uncovers dark mysteries after a local bank robbery. Join us as we get together to get together to help those in need at this CMG Gives Back event! We have a great little community of Movie Group friends so rather than see a movie this time, we’ll help “create a better world” by helping serve those in need. Here are complete details and our plan for this event: FAITH MISSION – GRANT KITCHEN: The Faith Mission kitchen and dining room serves residents 3 meals a day, every day of the year. For this event, our group will help prepare food, serve meals, assist residents in the dining room, wash dishes, and clean surfaces. PLAN: We will be preparing / serving / cleaning for BRUNCH from 10:30am to 12:30pm and have space for a total of 7 volunteers. Please arrive at 10:20am and wear closed-toe shoes and long pants. LOCATION: Faith Mission – Grant Kitchen is located at 245 N. Grant Ave. Enter the kitchen at Dock 1 (in the back of the building), indicated in the attached map. On-site parking in the adjacent lot and street parking is available in the surrounding area.
