Mythology-themed Gateless Writing Salon via Zoom Led by Rebecca Lynne
Join Rebecca Lynne as she leads a two hour generative writing workshop, featuring prompts, inspiration and feedback drawn from the Gateless method.
In the mythology salons, a character from mythology will be chosen prior and will be briefly described so there is no need to prepare prior. Then a related poetic prompt will be shared followed by writing and sharing time with feedback following the Gateless method. ALL GENRES ARE WELCOME!
Rebecca Lynne is a certified Gateless facilitator. Beginning with presentation of a unique communication or expression, she will lead the group to a prompt and then time to write. She will invite the group to share what each has created, with feedback following the Gateless method. Let Rebecca help to inspire you, create community, and help to unearth the writing that’s inside.
This workshop is $15 per session or 11 sessions for $150. It is offered complimentary for your first session so you can see if it is something you would like to invest in.
I am able to accept PayPal.me/RebeccaLynne and Venmo @Rebecca-Smolen or cash.
Writers' On-Line Feedback Session via Zoom
This group is for anyone interested in writing in English, whether it be prose or poetry or non-fiction. We get together once a week to listen, critique and support each other in our work. Attendees bring something they have written, which they read aloud. They then receive feedback from the rest of the group. The size of the group is limited to 4, so that everyone is able to receive a full 30 minutes of constructive feedback including reading time. We are an anglophone group and everything is conducted in English, in fact not everyone who comes can speak French. Please bear this in mind if you sign up.

WHAT DO I NEED?

Deeply Connect with Divine Love — The Sound of Soul
Would you like to discover your true Self?
Do you want to know how to love unconditionally even in hard times?
Are you interested in learning a simple technique to open your heart to Divine Love?
You are warmly invited to join us and experience a simple spiritual exercise to open our heart to divine love in a friendly atmosphere with other like-minded souls. Come, share your stories and insights.
The Sound of Soul is HU. The HU sound is a vibration often heard in the wind from Heaven, God's Holy Spirit. This sound has even been called the name of God.
“As you chant the name of God, with love, for twenty minutes a day, the bindings that constrain Soul will begin to unwind. Not all at once, but very slowly, at a rate you can understand and accept.
'As these bindings are released, Soul rises in spiritual freedom.”
— Harold Klemp, The Sound of Soul, p. 31
Experience some of the many benefits of the Sound of Soul:
• Inner Peace and Calm
• Divine Love
• Expanded awareness
• Spiritual self-discovery and growth
• Healing of the heart
• Conquer fear
• Inner Guidance
Open your heart to yourself and others. Gain a greater sense of spiritual consciousness. Awaken into a larger room.
Share your experiences and insights with fellow spiritual explorers.
Ask your questions and discover new ways to find your own answers.

Speak Easy (Storytelling)
The topic for April is "Water"
Speak Easy: true stories, told live.
The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast.
Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect.
The night is geared for true stories of all kinds, taking the best tales told around kitchen tables, in darkened pubs, on the street corner, and at late-night parties and giving them an audience. Speak Easy is also a great outlet for performers, writers, and artists looking to share their favorite stories and perfect their skills. We strongly encourage tellers to please tell the story rather than read it so we keep within the spirit of good storytelling and stay engaged with the audience. All are welcome. Hang around after the show for a drink and build community!
