Hey you! Yes, you! 👋 Come join us for our favourite thing of the week — a super chilled Saturday evening hang with some of Dublin’s most interesting tech folks! ☕🍺 No boring presentations. No forced networking. No “so what do you do?” small talk awkwardness. 🙅‍♂️ Just good people, great conversations, and good vibes only — and let’s be honest, the Ferryman is the perfect spot for it! 🍻✨ Whether you’re a developer 💻, designer 🎨, founder 🚀, product person 📱, or just someone who loves all things tech — you belong here. We’re a friendly, welcoming bunch who love nothing more than a good natter about side projects, the latest in tech, career chats, or honestly just life in general! 😄 Here’s how the evening flows (loosely — we promise! 😄) 🕖 7:00pm – Doors open, grab your drink! Roll in, get settled, and say hello to some familiar or brand new faces! No rush, no pressure — just come as you are 😊 🕖 7:15pm – Quick welcome & intros 👋 We’ll do a super casual round of hellos so nobody feels like a stranger — just your name, what you do, and one thing you’re excited about right now! (Tech or non-tech, we don’t mind! 😄) 🕗 7:30pm – Open conversation time 💬 This is the heart of the evening! We’ll throw out a couple of loose talking points to get things flowing — think current trends, things you’re building, problems you’re trying to solve, or just cool stuff you’ve come across lately. Chat freely, bounce around tables, meet everyone! 🙌 🕗 8:00pm – “60 seconds of fame” segment ⚡ Got a side project, an idea, or something you’re working on? This is your 60 seconds to share it with the group — no slides needed, just your voice! Totally optional but always a highlight of the night 🌟 🕘 8:30pm onwards – Free flow & good craic! 🎉 The agenda ends here and the fun really begins 😄 Keep the conversations going, swap contacts, find your next collab partner, or just enjoy the evening with great company! 🎯 What you’ll get: ∙ Real, genuine connections with people who just get it 🤝 ∙ A relaxed, judgment-free space to be yourself 💛 ∙ Fresh perspectives and maybe even your next collab partner! 🙌 ∙ Great craic in one of Dublin’s cosiest pubs 🏠❤️ ∙ A proper good time — because that’s what Saturdays are for! 🎉 Whether it’s your first time or you’re a regular face - everyone is welcome, always. 💚 Come say hello, we’d love to meet you! 📍 The Ferryman Pub, Dublin 🕖 7pm — see you there! 🥳

Spiritual Walk in St. Anne's Park, Dublin.
Spiritual Walk in St. Anne's Park, Dublin.
If you have an interest in spiritual topics like Dreams, Past Lives, or Soul Travel, then join other like-hearted Souls in conversation and some exercise as we take a spiritual walk around St. Anne’s Park in Clontarf, Dublin. **Location** St. Anne’s Park contains some original features, including a walled garden, the grand avenue and a number of follies. In the last few decades, a rose garden, walking trails and the Millennium Arboretum have been added, which contain over 1000 varied trees. **Meeting Time** We’ll meet at 12:00 pm close to the entrance gate to the Red Stables, and go for a stroll from there. The weather will probably determine our route, but we are open to all suggestions. **How to get there / Transport** If you’re using public transport, the best bus to get is the 130 from Talbot Street, Dublin 1, to Park Lawn, and you’ll have a 5-minute walk to St. Anne’s Park, close to the Red Stables. **Below are the routes which pass close to St. Anne’s Park.** 130, Talbot Street, to Mount Prospect Avenue. H1, Abbey St Lower, to All Saints Road. H2, Abbey St Lower, to All Saints Road. H3, Abbey St Lower, to All Saints Road. 6, Abbey St Lower, to All Saints Road. Please check the [Dublin Bus](http://www.dublinbus.ie/) website (http://www.dublinbus.ie/) for all updates on their services. **The Train/DART station near St. Anne's Park is** Killester, about a 40 min walk, to the Red Stables, our meeting point. Also be aware that the DART line between Dun Laoghaire and Connolly will be closed on Monday, 6th April due to works on the line. If you’re driving, there are a number of car parks in St Anne’s and some on-street parking nearby. **Our Walk** While walking, we will try to be present in the moment, be mindful of our thoughts, observe what is presented to us and what comes into our awareness. We'd love to hear your stories and any spiritual insights you’d like to share. We’re also happy to answer any spiritual questions you may have, offering Eckankar’s view of life and spirituality. **Food** You can bring some food for a picnic, and for sharing if you like. There is a nice cafe, Olive’s Room, at the Red Stables, but keep in mind, this closes at 5:00 pm. You’re welcome to join us for as long as you wish to suit your own schedule. We’ll probably aim to return to the Red Stables around 3:00 pm. **All are welcome!**

What is beauty?
What is beauty?
We’ve all made the exclamation: “now, that is beautiful!” And life seems better, richer for it. What do we mean by ‘beauty’? What qualities does something require in order to be classified in such a way? What things can be given such label? Are there things that do not deserve to be called beautiful? Is beauty restricted to physicality? Is beauty merely subjective or does it have an objective framework? Is it a matter of the feminine side of life? Is it something internal or external? Come along next Tuesday evening at the lovely Third Space Cafe Smithfield for a facilitated discussion about beauty. Newcomers are welcome. NOTE: we ask for a 3 Euro donation to cover expenses. Pay on the evening by coin or Revolut. Socrates Cafe: a space where ideas and dialogue can flourish.

Data & Analytics Wednesday - The Data-Driven Brand
Data & Analytics Wednesday - The Data-Driven Brand
**The Data-Driven Brand: Using Analytics to Shape Perception** Can you use analytics to improve tacos? This being CBUSDAW, we think the answer is probably “yes”, but we’re not sure how to implement or test this theory. For our April meetup we’ve got Sara Kear, CMO of Condado Tacos, to investigate this delicious question. Sara will explore how she blends quantitative data and qualitative customer feedback to shape brand positioning and drive business decisions. We all know that marketing and analytics go way beyond attribution. Sara will show how Condado uses customer insights to inform product and pricing strategy. She’ll also highlight how Condado leverages customer feedback at scale to influence operational priorities, positioning marketing as the voice of the customer across the organization. In the last 12 years Condado has gone from one location in Columbus to 52 locations across 10 states, so we’re guessing there’s more to that growth than really good guac (though the guac probably helps). Ultimately, this talk focuses on the intersection of art and science—using data to inform creativity and build a brand that resonates with customers in a measurable way. **About Our Speaker** Sara Kear is Chief Marketing Officer at Condado Tacos, where she oversees brand, restaurant design, menu and pricing strategy, off-premise including catering, and customer data strategy. Since joining in 2021, she has helped grow the brand from 19 to 52 locations while building a data-driven marketing organization focused on loyalty and customer insights. Condado has since been named to the Inc. 5000, recognized as Breakout Retailer by Chain Store Age, and consistently ranked among FastCasual’s Top 100 Movers & Shakers.
