**Come join our group of fun and fabulous friends!** **Please note that is a dog friendly event!** We meet and socialize outside on the Whitestone Brewery patio which is completely open to our four-legged friends. If you are looking to make new friends, you have come to the right place. And we offer an opportunity to get in some exercise. The exercise is a bonus and OPTIONAL! We want you to come hang out more than anything. Too cold or too hot or too whatever might keep you from exercising, but please just show up and honor us with your presence. And Whitestone Brewery has offered us Happy Hour pricing for this event! We will meet at 6:30 pm on the patio of Whitestone Brewery to **start our Run/Walk at 6:40 pm**. **IMPORTANT:** Due to construction at our previous meeting location which closed down the parking lot we've temporarily moved the starting location to **Brushy Creek Lake Park**. The relevant information has been updated to reflect this. Join us for our **recurring** scenic **6.6-mile (10.6-km)** evening at the Brushy Creek Regional Trail in Cedar Park! We’ll take a relaxed pace through one of the city’s most beautiful trails. The hike should take about **2 hours**. **ℹ️ Additional info** The purpose of this specific event is to have a recurring way for us to meet relatively easily. I want to make sure that recurring events are a "low effort" commitment, ie you don't have to drive 2 hours to get there. In the future once we have more organizers I plan to have more recurring events scheduled so we can cover a larger area. Also, you may have noticed that **this event has an RSVP limit**. This is done for multiple reasons. Not only to ensure that a large group is not disruptive to the rest of the Austin community on the trail, but also to allow us to prioritize the "meetup" experience for every attendee, as having +60 people may be overwhelming, and ultimately the goal of this group is to build a community, not just a collection of individuals that like a specific trail. **📍 Where to Meet** 2310 Brushy Creek Rd, Cedar Park, TX 78613 Google Maps **exact meeting spot link**: https://maps.app.goo.gl/yAzHpoVQdXXAG3XD8 Route on **AllTrails**: [Will be added in the future] **🅿️ Parking** Parking is available directly at the parking lot close to where we'll meet. Come out for a casual evening bike ride along Brushy Creek Trail East. We roll at 6:05pm and plan to ride for about an hour. Distance is flexible depending on the group's pace. The trail is fully paved, so any type of bike works. Road bike, mountain bike, hybrid, whatever you've got. All skill levels welcome. Bring water and lights just in case we're out past sunset.
