Co-Working Session (Deep Work, all types of work welcome)
Hello! I’m organising a coworking + socialising session for all of us who are working on projects (e.g. our own creations, freelance or remote work) but don't feel like sitting alone at home. 🙂
To ensure that we have time for both socialising AND working, we will be using the so-called “Pomodoro” technique:
**50 mins deep work** (silent), followed by **10 mins break** to socialise. And then repeat!
You are welcome to join whatever your personal background is, and whatever project you are working on.
I (the host) speak English and German, so either language is fine.

The location is **Espresso House near Checkpoint Charlie** (they have multiple outlets - so be sure to go to the correct one!)
Wifi + power plugs are available - but best to bring a fully charged laptop, just in case 🙃
You **do not** have to pay anything. But since we are using the café space, it is common courtesy to buy at least one drink (coffee costs roughly **4 Euros**).
FLINTA* Track Session
We are starting a series of track sessions with Ruth and Victoria as a part of training for the upcoming Oberelbe race in Dresden.
Starting from March, 4, we’ll gather at the Track of Volkspark Rehberge at 18:30 for a group training.

Wedding 5/10k Run
Let's run! Our run takes about 1 hour depending on the route and group. Feel free to meet us along the way, just drop something in the comments and we'll wait for you. Our pace is typically 5:30 to 6:00 min/km. Laugh without Reason Event (DE/EN)
Important information: The event will always take place regardless of how many people attend the meetup. There is always a second laughter yoga conductor (Heidi) and a couple of other regulars who don't use Meetup.
Laughter Yoga is a unique concept that combines laughter exercises with yoga breathing to promote wellness and overall happiness. You will learn how to laugh without reason. The event is perfect for anyone looking to de-stress, boost their mood, and connect with others in a light-hearted and fun way. You don't need any yoga experience, just the willingness to laugh.
**Do I need special clothing?**
* Just wear comfortable clothes. Please bring some thick socks or clean shoes for the room.
**Do I need anything else?**
* It is essential to stay hydrated. **Please bring some water**.

**Is it free?**
* Participation costs 5€. Alternatively, you can use Urban Sports Club. These costs are mainly used to cover rent for the room, meetup fees, website, insurance, flyers, etc.

**What does an event look like?**
* We incorporate laughter exercises, breathing exercises, playful exercises, positive affirmations, and dancing. The event ends with a laughter meditation of \~ 15 minutes.
**What if I can't laugh?**
* Everything is voluntary. If you can't laugh, you can simulate it, and usually, people get into genuine laughter during the sessions. Laughter yoga is a great way to laugh more, to laugh deeper, and more frequently!
**How many people show up?**
* Usually, the group size is between 7 and 20 people. Regardless how many people sign up via meetup, the event will always take place. Many people don't sign up via meetup.
**Where is it?**
* It's close to U2 Märkisches Museum. The Kreativhaus Berlin Mitte has one entrance. Please be there 5 minutes before we start. After 7 pm, it might be closed, and you either have to ring the bell or go around the house and watch out for the yellow smiley flag. The session takes place in "Projektraum 2/3".
Sessions are either in German or English. We always make sure that everyone understands it.

**Combining a variety of TopRock break dance moves in the format of HIIT training, this class will be like no other you have taken! Specifically created with non-break dancers in mind, this class is fun, engaging and totally beginner friendly!** 🤸♀️
*What exactly is TopRock you might be asking?* Toprock is the **standup part of breakdance**. When break-dancers are showing their skills, they will often start with toprock. Hike Blacklick Woods and The Canopy. Optional lunch after.
Over time I'm hoping to organize a hike to all the Franklin County Metro Parks. This is the first one so if you're interested jump in!
We'll start with the Canopy Walk, a cool feature of this park. Climb 100 stairs to the top - or take the elevator if stairs aren't your thing. At the top there are a bunch of things to play on - a rope bridge, a fireman pole that we can slide down - and more! About fifteen minutes there and we'll head to the natural trail, Buttonbush, Maple and Beech Trail for 2.2 miles then do a 1.7 mile loop on the paved Greenway Trail. We'll be passing our cars as we transition if you only want to do the first loop, or the second loop. Pace of around 3.5 mph but no one left behind.
If there is an interest we can grab lunch nearby afterward.
