Let's hike Brushy Creek Park Trail and walk for 1.75 hours for a total of 4.5 miles. This trail is paved so you don't need any hiking boots, but be sure to bring two or more liters of water and a flashlight. Well behaved dogs are welcome on the trail. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn to identify local aquatic insect species, how to properly match your Hill Country hatch, and the part our insects play in fly selection and design. This class is fun for kids and adults alike! If you would like to be part of the sampling, please wear waders and boots! Otherwise, the remainder of class will take place on the bank.

Bring you favorite instrument and play a mix of pop, rock, and classical music. We're all learning and making mistakes. It's all about having fun and creating music. We have sheet music online. **San Gabriel River from Blue Hole Hike & Georgetown Red Poppy Festival** This was a fun event last year - let's do it again! We'll hike about a 5-mile portion of the San Gabriel River Trail. We will meet at 9am on Saturday, April 25th, 2026, at the Blue Hole Park trailhead. After the hike, we can have lunch at Encantada or a food vendor at the festival, then enjoy booths and live music throughout the rest of the day.
