⚡ Have you ever wondered how to improve your toolbelt in software development? Amazon Web Services, or best known as AWS, is one of those platforms that make our life easier as developers, with several services as servers, CDN’s, hosting, automanage databases, etc.
This meetup is for you who want to know from scratch about these services, how to engage in their communities, and how to improve your applications and ideas in a single place.
🙋♀️ We are so excited about this meetup! We have two special women in tech that will share their experience and knowledge about AWS, communities, and the industry.
💕 We'll wait for you on Wed, 28 October at 6:00 PM - GMT+2 (18:00h - CEST) [online] 📅.

📌 Schedule:
🟣 18:00 Welcome at Magenta Codes's Meetup
🟣 18:10 - 18:55 Talk 1️⃣ "AWS Newbies" to "AWS Community Leader" as a Complete Beginner
🗣️ Speaker: Hiro Nishimura (https://www.linkedin.com/in/hirokonishimura/)
Hiro is a Special Education Teacher turned IT Support Engineer turned SysAdmin turned freelance Content Strategist. She founded awsnewbies.com in 2018 after becoming frustrated with lack of resources catered towards people trying to learn about Amazon Web Services (AWS) without engineering backgrounds. Since then, she's taught "Introduction to AWS for Non-Engineers" (introtoaws.com) courses in partnership with LinkedIn Learning and created cloudnewbies.com, an inclusive and supportive community to bring experienced Cloud Technologists and Cloud Newbies together to learn and study about Cloud Computing together. She prides herself on being a "Professional Beginner," embracing the fact that she is usually the "newbie in the room," and uses her pain points as she learns a new technology to create resources for other people who are starting their technical journey from zero.

🟣 19:00 - 19:45 Talk 2️⃣ "AWS CDK - Using code to create your AWS infrastructure"
🗣️ Speaker:Leslie Wittig Quintanilla
( https://www.linkedin.com/in/lesliewittig/)
Leslie got into the internet world in 99, the same year Matrix the movie was launched. Since then she decided to take the red pill and become a software engineer and help many "Zions" to thrive during her career. She has 8 years of experience with AWS. Working for Klarna since 2015, is now in the Accountable Lead role, invested in making developers daily work easier to confidently deliver fast and reliable web services in multiple cloud providers. She believes that there are no stupid questions but unanswered concerns.
