Welcome to ESCA Sports Group, where we come together to enjoy our favorite sports - volleyball, basketball, badminton, and more! Whether you're a seasoned pro or just looking to have some fun and meet new people, this group is for you. Join us for friendly games, competitions, and social events that cater to all skill levels and interests. Let's stay active, make new friends, and have a blast playing the sports we love. See you on the court or field!

Event Guidelines and Policies

Format:
General rules apply, suitable for beginners and intermediate players. Typically, 2 courts are available for 4 teams using the King’s Court rule, where everyone plays with each other. The number of participants depends on court availability (24-26 players). Organizers will notify participants of any format changes.
Cancellation & No Shows:
Please cancel at least 24 hours in advance and mark yourself as “Not Going” if you can't attend. Habitual no-shows may lose the ability to register for future events.
Late Policy:
If you're running late, text the WhatsApp group 10 minutes in advance. After 15 minutes, your spot may be given to another player.
Respect & Conduct:
This is a friendly, fun event. Poor sportsmanship, yelling, cheating, or disturbing the game will not be tolerated. If asked to leave, you agree to exit immediately without dispute. No refunds.
Age Requirement:
Open to participants 16+; anyone under 18 must attend with a parent/guardian.
Health & Safety:
Please follow all AHS guidelines. Do not attend if feeling unwell, exhibiting symptoms, or have been in recent contact with someone sick. Wear clean, non-marking indoor shoes (outdoor shoes are not permitted). You are responsible for any incident costs reported to the city.
Liability & Risk:
By joining, you assume all risks associated with participation, including personal injury, property damage, or loss. You waive certain legal rights, including the right to sue.
Photo/Video Consent:
Photos and videos may be taken during the event for promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to the use of these images. If you do not wish to be photographed, please refrain from joining.

Let’s play Volleyball for fun. There is a $8 drop-in fee. If you bring a team of 6 (or 6 Players) then you pay only $40!!
This is an introduction offer!!

Please e-transfer it to escaedm@gmail.com to confirm your spots. Cash is acceptable only from the existing players who have never cancelled and are already on the WhatsApp group.
You can be added to the WhatsApp group after your first successful event.
Volleyball rules: All general rules apply. This is for beginners and intermittent levels. However, any level is expected, and you are welcome!
One court is available. Teams shall be formed based on available players. Everyone plays with each other.
There are 14 to 12 players. The organizer (s) shall inform of any format change.
Last-minute cancellations were experienced in previous years. If I hear any surprise from the school board, we will inform you accordingly.
This is just for fun, or you won’t be invited again. no refunds, no fights, no yelling at opponents, and no cheating. It is a friendly game; winning or losing is not important.
Organizer(s) has/have all the rights to dismiss you from the game if you are found to be disturbing the game in any manner, and it is not discrimination. If you said to leave the venue, you agreed to leave immediately without asking for any reason.
Anyone 16+ or older can join our meetup events. However, anyone 17 years and younger must come with their parent/guardian.
Please dress appropriately. All players must wear clean, non-marking indoor shoes. Outdoor shoes are not permitted in the Gym. If the city reports an incident because of you, you will be responsible, and the associated costs will be charged to you.
Poor sportsmanship and lack of respect for other players will not be tolerated. This is an open group, and we encourage anyone and everyone to come out and play, regardless of level and ability.
Late Policy:
if you are more than 15 minutes late, your spot can be given away to someone else, and you will not be allowed to play with no refund.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS, ASSUMPTION OF RISKS, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT. BY JOINING AN EVENT, YOU WILL WAIVE CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE.

Cancellation Policy:
24 hours’ notice is required for cancellation. Late cancellations or RSVPs that do not result in attendance are subject to the event fee
