Snorkeling, Dolphin Watching, Latin Dancing & Camping under stars in Musandam

An amazing island adventure weekend from 12 – 14 March on a private beach in the Musandam , Oman, where you can bask in the sunshine, snorkel in the clear waters, hike the rugged mountains, watch dolphins from a dhow, dance to Latin Rhythms around a camp fire and sleep under the stars.

GETTING THERE

Drive to Khassab port through the Ras Al Khaimah border crossing along beautiful paved mountain and seaside roads (3.5 Hours from Dubai, 6 hours from Abu Dhabi) where you will be transported to our private island beach via small boats.

In order to accommodate friends joining us from Abu Dhabi and Dubai, there will be 3 departure times:

Abu Dhabi: 6 pm Thursday 12 March to arrive at Khassab port by 12 midnight.

Abu Dhabi: 5 am Friday 13 March to arrive at Khassab port by 11 am

Dubai: 8 pm Thursday 12 march to arrive at khassab port by 12 midnight

VISA REQUIREMENTS & COSTS

You will need a visa to cross into Oman. Apply on line at least 5 days in advance at:

https://evisa.rop.gov.om/

UAE residents need t residence visa valid for 3 months and passport valid for 6 months.

Crossing into Oman will cost AED 85 (AED 50 for Oman visa + AED 35 for UAE exit fees) AND ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE COST OF THE TRIP

VEHICLE REGISTRATION & INSURANCE

• Vehicles must have Oman insurance (can be purchased at border for AED 100)

ACCOMMODATION:

• Camping under the stars in tents provided.
• You may bring own tent but will not reduce cost of trip.
• Bring your own sleeping bag, sheets, pillows, Cot or inflatable mattress

MEALS

• 2 breakfasts
• 2 fish BBQ Buffets (fresh fish, veggies & salad)
• Unlimited water and soft drinks.

ITINERARY

THURSDAY

• Depart Abu Dhabi/Dubai to arrive at Khassab port by 12 midnight
• Take boat to private beach & Set up camp
• Spear fishing team will go fishing at night to catch fresh fish for our BBQ next day

FRIDAY

• Wake up Coffee/Tea
• Breakfast Buffet
• Swim/snorkel/relax
• Kayaking
• Arrival of people joining us on Friday
• Dhow cruise to see dolphins and snorkel at 2 pm
• Fish BBQ Dinner
• Latin Salsa dance
• Bonfire, Music, Dance

SATUARDAY

• Wake up Coffee/Tea
• Sunrise hike
• Breakfast Buffet
• Swim/snorkel/relax
• Kayaking
• Fish BBQ Lunch
• Boat trip back to Khassab port at 3 pm
• Return to Abu Dhabi/Dubai

COSTS
The organizers are offering early bird discount of AED 100 in order to determine the number of attendees in advance to help with booking the boat and dhows for the trip

Single Person

• Early Bird (paid by 7 march) AED 550
• Regular (paid by/on day of trip) AED 650

Couple (or group of 2 – Bring a friend)

• Early Bird (paid by 7 march) AED 1000
• Regular (paid by/on day of trip) AED 1200

REFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS/SPECIAL REQUESTS

• The organizers book boats and the dhow one week in advance of the trip, so if you cancel before Saturday 7 march you will receive 100% refund. Any cancellation after March 7 will not receive any refund.
• Anyone needing to leave earlier than the group timing will have to pay EXTRA cost at their own expense for the boat trip back to the port.
• In the event of trip cancellation you will receive 100% refund

• Aqua shoes as the beach area is rocky
