Walk length 2 miles/3.2 km approx. Linear.
A curious walk exploring the history behind some of the tucked away streets and alleys from Tower Hill to Leadenhall Market.
See the area where the fictional character Scrooge had his Counting House in Charles Dickens a Christmas Carol and see the place where Sir Francis Dashwood started his Hellfire Club amongst many other historical titbits!
We will get some refreshments after the walk close to Leadenhal Market and Bank underground.

Meeting
The walk starts outside Tower Hill underground exit (see photo above) and will finish near Bank. Meet from 4.15pm for the walk to start at 4.30pm. See Transport for London (http://www.tfl.gov.uk/)
