Walk length 2 miles/3.2 km approx. Linear.

A chance to explore part of Southwark and its fascinating history from old coaching inns to skyscrapers and Victorian debtor prisons. The wall of one debtor prison still survives and it may have been the first inspiration for Charles Dickens, a man some regard as the inventor of Christmas...

Meeting

Meet outside Joiner Street Exit to London Bridge Station (Tooley Street) from 6.15pm for the walk to start at 6.30pm (see photo above). We can go for optional drinks afterwards.

£4 cash payable on the day guided walk & meetup costs. You can do paypal (colin45@hotmail.co.uk) please use friends and family with paypal to avoid charges. Bank transfer if you prefer, please contact the organizer.
