Let’s play, solve, and escape — together!
This group is for anyone in the Salt Lake City area who loves the thrill of escape rooms. Whether you’re brand new or a seasoned puzzler, you’re welcome here. We’ll explore a wide variety of escape rooms across the metro area — from spooky to sci-fi to just plain tricky — and build a friendly community of thinkers, adventurers, and problem-solvers.
Who should join:
Curious minds of all kinds — beginners, enthusiasts, and everyone in between. If you like stories, challenges, or just want to meet fun people, this is for you.
What we’ll do:
Regular meetups to play escape rooms together, followed by optional social hangouts to share thoughts and maybe a few post-room drinks or desserts.
Fees:
There’s no cost to join the group. Members just pay their share for whatever room we book — no markup, no extra fees.

Join us Wednesday, June 4 at 7:30 pm at Great Room Escape in Layton to play one of Salt Lake’s best escape rooms. Their address is: 525 Ring Road, Layton, UtahThe room starts at 7:30 pm, but please be 15 minutes early to check-in, sign waivers, meet your teammates, etc.! The game will last 1 hour max. The cost is $34.95

About the room:

The Hotel Clairmont has been abandoned for years. You and your team of ghost investigators have been called in to investigate the “disturbances” and see if you can help five lost souls find their way out!
You must make your way through the haunted halls to uncover clues, decipher riddles, and discover the key to releasing these lingering guests!
Important details:
- We will book the spots for this room, so no planning needed!
- This is a prepaid event, so you must pay the RSVP fee to join in. Payment can be sent through Venmo to @Busboom. If you would like to Zelle payment instead, please contact me at the above email address.
- Please arrive at the listed time. This is scheduled 15 mins ahead of the room time so that everyone can arrive, check in and sign waivers if applicable.
- Depending on demand, we may add additional rooms, so if you don't see a spot left, please let us know!
- No shows or last minute cancellations after the booking has been paid. You will not receive refunds due to the non-refundable nature of escape room businesses. Let us know if your plans have changed and we can attempt to find a replacement for you, but there is no guarantee.
- If there is a cancellation/rescheduling of the event, you WILL receive refunds.

After becoming lost in the woods, you and your friends take refuge in a dark cabin only to discover that it’s a trap! The owner of the cabin doesn’t take kindly to trespassers so you have one hour to get the front door open and escape before he comes home.Are you brave enough for the challenge?
CAUTION: This room is played in the dark and contains depictions of death and mild gore. It is not recommended for younger children or those who truly do not like scary themes.
