We are hosting a meet up of a Filipino Martial arts class every Saturday 10 AM - 12 PM at Brand Park, 1601 W Mountain St, Glendale, CA 91201. We will be located at the pin on the map in this event page.

This class is open to all skill levels. A great way to meet other people interested in Martial arts, as well as getting some exercise and learning an excellent weapon based martial art.

We start you with weapons (sticks) to use in class the first day. Eskrima is a Filipino Martial Art and a very effective self-defense art.
If you've trained before, come out, if you've never trained in Filipino martial arts (Serrada Eskrima), it's a great new art that could be a stand alone art, or could compliment any other martial arts out there. We teach techniques that range from sticks to knife, to empty hand, improvised weapons and well as many other techniques.

Once the student has the basics down he or she can easily transition to improvised weapons.

If you have sticks bring them. If not, we have plenty to lend out.

Wear loose workout clothes and bring some water to stay hydrated.
