ESL Book Club - True Crime: An Imaginary Report

Details

Join our ESL Book and Conversation Club for a fun and interactive session on the topic of scary stories. Most of us love a good scary story whether that's a spooky tale or a chilling true crime.
Alternate reality games are a multimedia method of storytelling that use all the tools technology offers blurring the line between fiction and real life.
For our first lesson, our job will be to create an "imaginary report" of a "true crime."
Roald Dahl's short story, The Landlady, is a fictional crime/horror story. Let's look at how this story could be told through modern media.
RSVP and I will send you a worksheet on the storytelling medium of ARGs with examples and ideas of how we can turn a fictional work into "an imaginary report of a true crime."

(I've marked June 26 as the start date, times and place are up for discussion, I'd like to make a whatsapp group for members for this purpose as well as for sending you worksheets and other materials)
