Generally, we meet the First Saturday of every month. with the following exceptions:

• In January, we replace the usual meeting with our Annual ZAMENHOF Lunch/Dinner, in-person. - date and location to be decided

• June meeting is usually a barbecue at a private home in Oakland. Please make contact for details.

• July and August, there is no formal meeting, but some time during the summer we have at least one in-person outing together. And maybe a picnic too! :) And, maybe some virtual meetings too... ah, summer, the time to be a little freer in our activities. - Stay in touch for details!

• September, due to the Labor Day weekend, we may move the meeting to the SECOND Saturday. - Stay in touch for details.

• December 15 is Doctor ZAMENHOF's birthday. We usually have a birthday party and book exchange, in-person. -

1:00 p.m. - If there are beginners, we will make arrangements for someone to be a "translator"/helper (usually in the chat if virtual). But, listening to experienced speakers is worthwhile in and of itself. Watch the -o and -a words go by. :) Please ask for assistance when you arrive and say "Saluton"!

1:30 p.m. - Babilado - Conversation, news, meet newcomers

2:00 p.m. - Sometimes we have a formal program - guest speaker, announcements, introductions

When in-person, the event often includes lunch or dinner, during or after the event.
