Esperanto is an easy-to-learn language with a growing community of speakers in over 135 countries. Duolingo’s Esperanto course alone attracted hundreds of thousands of students in just its first year, and other free on-line classes from introductory to advanced can be found at Lernu.net. Originally a planned language, Esperanto has developed naturally in use for more than a century. Our Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill group has been active since 1986, and beginners are welcome.
