Beginner Esperanto Conversation Meetup + Article Discussion

Join us for a friendly in-person meetup at Qahwah House Broadway (2869 Broadway, at 111th Street) on Sunday, August 17th, from 12:00–2:00 PM.
This session is focused on beginners who want to learn and practice basic Esperanto in a supportive environment. No experience needed — just curiosity and willingness to speak!
☕ We’ll chat in simple Esperanto, introduce ourselves, and go over basic vocabulary and expressions together.
📖 For those at an intermediate level, you're welcome to read ahead and optionally discuss Tage Danielsson’s touching short story “La Unua Amo” (pages 1–3) from Dek Du Amrakontoj:

📌 Accessibility Note: Please note that Qahwah House is not wheelchair accessible. The seating area is mostly on the second floor, which is only reachable by stairs, and the men's bathroom is located in the basement, also down a flight of stairs.

Komencanta Konversacia Renkontiĝo + Legado
Aliĝu al amika, ĉeesta Esperanto-renkontiĝo ĉe Qahwah House Broadway (2869 Broadway, ĉe 111-a Strato) je la dimanĉo, la 17-a de aŭgusto, de la 12-a ĝis la 14-a.
Ĉi tiu kunveno celas komencantojn, kiuj volas lerni kaj ekparoli bazan Esperanton en subtena etoso. Ne necesas sperto — nur scivolemo kaj volo paroli!
