Esperanto Conversation Meetup in NYC · All Levels Welcome

Join the Esperanto Society of New York for another Saturday afternoon of conversation, coffee, and good company in the Financial District!
Whether you are a longtime Esperanto speaker, currently learning the language, or simply curious about it, our regular gatherings offer an opportunity to meet other language enthusiasts and practice Esperanto in a relaxed setting.
There is no formal lesson or structured agenda. Conversations develop naturally, covering everything from languages and travel to books, culture, and everyday life.
You are welcome to:

• Practice Esperanto at your own level.
• Meet local and visiting Esperanto speakers.
• Ask questions and pick up new vocabulary.
• Listen, observe, or join the conversation whenever you feel comfortable.

Complete beginners are welcome. No previous knowledge of Esperanto is required.

We will likely be seated at the outdoor tables, weather permitting. Please check outside first and look for a small Esperanto flag and some Esperanto books. If you have trouble finding us, message the organizer through Meetup.
Please purchase a drink or snack to support the café.
Come for a short visit or stay for the entire gathering. Friends and newcomers are always welcome!

Venu al la Esperanto-Societo de Novjorko por agrabla sabata posttagmezo de babilado, kafo kaj amikeca etoso en la Financa Distrikto!
Ĉu vi estas sperta esperantisto, ĉu vi ankoraŭ lernas la lingvon, aŭ ĉu vi simple scivolas pri Esperanto, niaj regulaj renkontiĝoj estas bonega okazo por konatiĝi kun aliaj lingvoŝatantoj kaj praktiki Esperanton en malstreĉa medio.
Ne estas formala leciono aŭ antaŭfiksita programo. La babilado evoluas nature, kaj ni parolas pri diversaj temoj, ekzemple lingvoj, vojaĝoj, libroj, kulturo kaj ĉiutaga vivo.
Vi povas praktiki laŭ via nivelo, konatiĝi kun lokaj kaj vizitantaj esperantistoj, demandi, lerni novajn vortojn aŭ simple aŭskulti kaj partopreni laŭ via deziro.
Kompletaj komencantoj estas bonvenaj. Vi ne bezonas antaŭe scii Esperanton.
