The premise:
The revolt of Llywelyn Bren of Wales has upset the balance of power across England as the successor to the throne Edward II of England struggles to contain the chaos of England as it advances into the 13th Century of England. His surrender after being broken by the English has resulted in him being sent as a prisoner of the crown and the hopes for leniency have met with silence on behalf of the crown.
