Join us for two, half-day online webinar and we’ll walk you through the process of migrating your data to the parcel fabric.

This webinar includes presentations and demos followed by a ‘Hands On’ portion where you migrate your own data. We will use Zoom ‘breakout rooms’ for any questions you might have.

Experienced community members that would like to join and help are welcome and share their knowledge.

Session 1 Agenda: MIGRATE YOUR DATA

• The Parcel Fabric Information Model
• Where did this parcel come from? Making your data defendable.
• Historic parcels and Parcel Lineage
• Data Migration Process: 7 simple steps
• Breakout session: upgrading from ArcMap Parcel Fabric (1 step)
• ‘Hands On’ – migrate our sample data
• Creating a Schema Report
• Information modeling considerations: Parcel Types, domains, subtypes,
• Parcel Fabric properties and configuration
• ‘Hands On’ – you migrate your (sample) data, ask questions
• Common data cleanup operations (curves, attributes, ArcMap COGO Lines, …)
• Day 1 Wrap Up
• Open Office Hours – the team and the community is there to help you

Prerequisites:
These are the things you’ll need in order to perform and ‘Hand On’ portions:

• Familiarity with geodatabase concepts: feature class, fields, domains, topology, …
• Familiarity with ArcGIS Pro
• Your data should be digital, with a spatial reference. Preferably in a file geodatabase. Or a SHP file. Not in ArcInfo Coverages, paper or clay.
• Prepare a sample data that represents your data. 5000-20000 parcels should be enough. It can include polygons, lines, points, connection lines, control points.
• Have ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise Installed.
• Have a connection to your enterprise geodatabase (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle)
• Good attitude, open mind.
