Breathwork is a practice that can help you reach an altered state of consciousness. No mind altering substances needed. You are in control of your process the whole time.
Why does this matter????
From the moment we are born we are conditioned to fit in. We have shut down the ability to listen to our bodies. We look for data, how something worked out for other people. Show me the evidence or proof so that my brain can make a decision. Fear of being judged runs the show. And we wind up making decisions based on what other people think. Not based on what we actually want to do. We stop checking in with our inner guidance. Maybe we have never even tried.
Why change now????
The world is changing at an accelerated pace. There is so much information-how can we possibly know it all? We can't. Getting back in touch with our inner knowing, intuition is going to be an important part of decision making.
Circling back!!!
Intentional altered states of consciousness help us access that intuition and rewire our brain to help shift our ability to tap into our inner knowing. Setting an intention is key! Paying attention after the session is important to notice what has shifted.
One session can be powerful, and we are not trying to blast the doors off the building-just gently turning the key and opening the door to peek inside. This might be the shift you have been seeking.
Please bring your water, and if you have a yoga mat, journal, eye cover and blanket- or these will be provided.
