Mersea Island 13 mile hike
Details
1st January 2026.
What better way to start the year off then walking around the whole periphery of Mersea Island.
High tide will be at 9.19am and 9.54pm which makes it the perfect day to explore the island without the tide covering the path.
Please join if you are already enjoying walks/hikes of 5 hrs or more. If in doubt, please join one of our introductory walks first. I will have a first aid/emergancy kit and a Garmin Inreach for the group's protection. However, attendees must be self-sufficient and take full responsibility for their own safety. We will never leave anyone behind.
