Estepona Singles Events Calendar

The idea behind this space is to provide an alternative to the apparently useless dating apps and sites. I have long been creating social events, either related to language learning or social events. Up till now, I didn't specifically create a group in Estepona which specifically advertises itself as for singles.

I see people being ripped off by dating events and apps and the events which either I will post here or which anyone else is welcome to also choose to post here, need to be not for profit as this is not a business venture.

Some events may eventually require a deposit, simply because eg there are fixed costs to eg hire a cruise boat etc. However, most events will be free to RSVP and to attend and will be informal venues and activities that either allow sharing an activity experience or a drink in a local venue which is not noisy.

Some events may have no age restriction suggestions but others will advertise a specified suggested age range as the reality is that especially younger people usually want to attend events, where they believe they can meet people closer to their own age group...and the social life in Estepona is already heavily geared to older age crowd.

If you create a profile here, you must use your actual first name and you must post a visible head and shoulders style photo of yourself, as firstly this site and events are only for genuinely single people and secondly people want to see who they are actually going to meet.

Profiles without a first and visible photo will be deleted but folks can re join again, if they follow that request to post a name and photo of yourself.

Please make sure to RSVP for any event, at least minimum 24 hours ahead of the start time of the event. This is to ensure that events will actually go ahead with a reasonable number of people attending. If any event has poor interest shown, then such events will be cancelled, the night before any given event.

This group has free level subscription which means that only two events per month and a limit of 10 persons can RSVP for an event. That said, if 10 persons have already RSVPed, just request to be added to the 'waiting list' and presume you may attend.

Next request- if you no longer can attend an event, please remove your RSVP status to 'not going', to allow someone else to then take that place.

Ok, lets get this party going! The first event will be scheduled in early November.
