Many organizations have realized the benefits of cloud computing in terms of lower capital expenditure and great efficiencies that elasticity and scalability provide. However, one of the biggest challenges to cloud adoption has been the issue of security. During this meetup we will discuss some of the cloud security challenges and what kind of smart approaches are available to mitigate these risks.

Oleg is an entrepreneur and startup advisor who, having graduated from Cambridge, has worked with over 30 mediatech companies over the past 12 years. For the past five years, Oleg has also been doing tech due diligence and strategy work for investors including Amadeus, Atomico, Balderton, Inventure and others. He has started the Moscow and Helsinki JavaScript meetups, speaks at conferences and contributes to a number of open source projects. -
"Data security out of the hardened box" by Risto Laanoja (http://ee.linkedin.com/in/ristolaanoja) - Security Engineer at Guardtime (http://www.guardtime.com). The presentation will be about implications of cryptography in cloud computing, including encrypted search, proof of retrievability, multiparty computation, verifiable delegation, homomorphic encryption, etc.

HOW TO GET THERE
The TV Tower is 10 km from the city centre and 4 km from the Pirita marina. The TV Tower can be reached by bus 34A, 38 and 49 (Teletorni stop), the City Tour bus also stops here. The TV Tower parking lot has spaces for 60 passenger cars.
