On-chain Privacy in an Era of Radical Transparency
The blockchain operates on a fundamental paradox: it offers sovereignty through radical transparency, yet this very transparency has become our greatest vulnerability. The era of "passive" anonymity is over.
This panel goes beyond the superficial advice of "don't use the same alias." We will perform a critical analysis of how the very architecture of Web3 from ENS domains and on-chain social profiles (Farcaster) to airdrop interactions—is unintentionally building a public surveillance database.
We will discuss how simple off-chain data breaches can be used to de-anonymize entire on-chain financial histories. We will explore OPSEC not as a wall, but as an art: the art of digital identity fragmentation. We will define best practices for transaction hygiene and the use of ZK protocols not as "mixers," but as essential privacy infrastructure for the future economy.
