Description

Decentralized finance (often called DeFi) has become the major force driving user adoption on Ethereum with the promise of a permissionless financial ecosystem made available to everyone in the world! Join us for a presentation covering the current landscape of DeFi with a particular focus on Uniswap, one of the most heavily used DeFi exchange services on Ethereum. We’ll dissect how liquidity pools are created, how providers are rewarded and how Uniswap differentiates itself from the rest of the market. At the end of the presentation we will cover new developments in the space and discuss where DeFi is headed in the future.

About the Speakers

Our speakers for the night are two long-time developers in the space, Evan Andrews and Ian McEwan, co-founders of Rogue - a next generation protocol layer for decentralized exchange on Ethereum.

Evan has been a tech entrepreneur for over 10 years with experience in blockchain, machine learning, robotics and healthcare startups. Ian has more than twice as many years of technology and intellectual property development experience in fields like drone avionics and information systems, and has done work for multiple government agencies including working on JPL’s Mars Rover and other large scale endeavors. Together they form the development team for Rogue.
