Meetup: Cutting-edge Ethereum Research

We are starting 2024 with a meetup where we will explore the cutting-edge research and development in the Ethereum ecosystem.

For this reason, we have invited three awesome guests to tell us more about the research they are conducting and how it will affect everyday users.

Talks:

• Nastja Cepak (FAMNIT, University of Primorska) will talk about the field of digital signatures and asymmetric cryptography, and more specifically about its role in the Proof of Stake protocol.
• Vid Keršič (Blockchain Lab, University of Maribor) will present account abstraction (ERC-4337), a powerful new concept that will bring a much better user experience and safety of user funds.
• Marija Mikić (Faculty of Mathematics, University of Belgrade, 3327.io) will talk about stealth addresses and enabling private transactions on EVM chains.

After the event, we will continue to hang out, chat about the latest developments in the ecosystem and have drinks.

The meetup will take place at the offices of tretton37 in BTC, Ljubljana. The event will begin with doors opening at 18:30, followed by the talks starting at 19:00.
