We are happy to announce an exciting event featuring two distinguished speakers who will bring insights and trends from practice. We are bringing to you insightful talks on current challenges in the world of decentralized finance and blockchain networks.
Talks:
- Matej Berger (Co-Founder & CTO at Kriptal.io) will explore the changing dynamics of block building in Ethereum, where validator-built blocks have largely given way to specialized builders. With the top three builders now producing over 80% of all blocks, this shift has raised concerns about centralization. Matej will discuss what it takes to enter this emerging block-building market, measures being taken to combat centralization, and potential future trends. Kriptal is also expanding its team, so they are eager to connect with community members to discuss possible work opportunities.
- Nik Pletikos (Head of DeFi at Fuel Labs) will introduce innovative technology enabling the next generation of DeFi. Fuel Network is pioneering a blockchain network that leverages Predicates for transaction validation and execution, significantly impacting DEX architecture design. This approach enhances transaction flexibility, efficiency, scalability, and security while reducing state usage. Learn how Fuel Network plans to integrate predicates into its on-chain order book protocol to redefine the DeFi space.
After the event, we will continue to hang out, chat about the latest developments in the ecosystem, and have drinks.
The meetup will take place at the offices of tretton37 in BTC, Ljubljana. The event will begin with doors opening at 18:30, followed by the talks starting at 19:00.
