Programmable Crypto Essentials and Web 3.0 Economy

Details
Another way to look at ethereum is as a tool for communication. The internet paved the way to massive online collaboration (think of the Linux Kernel, Wikipedia and community driven business such as http://threadless.com ). Programmable crypto platforms take this idea one step further: reduced requirements for trust and inbuilt monetization open up a bunch of new applications.
In Ethereum Vienna, we try to leverage the latest and greatest developments and want to make it accessible to everyone. Thus, in the next meetup we will cover the following items:
-
Basic introduction to the Web 3.0 software stack: decentralized storage, decentralized contracts, decentralized communication
-
Hands on demonstration how a viable contract and decentralized communication work in tandem (example will probably concern crowdfunding) + news from the crypto 2.0 scene
-
Put it into perspective: Marco will provide insights how communication possibilities have shaped societies over the course of history.
With this we especially like to welcome new Etherealists. Please also RSVP to keep room capacities under check (currently library in metalab)!
