Status, the future of personal computing - Jarrad, Co-Founder of Status.im

We have another great talk coming up: "STATUS, the future of personal computing - and how we get there". The talk will be given by Jarrad Hope, co-founder of STATUS, which is an Ethereum-based browser, messenger, and gateway to a decentralized world.

In his talk, Jarrad will be discussing his thoughts on where he believes mobile technology is heading, what Status is and what it will become, and why Ethereum and decentralisation is important in this context.

Jarrad is the Co-Founder of Status, an open source mobile client for the Ethereum Network. As an entrepreneur he has founded several successful startups, primarily around software distribution. He has also been an active member in the Ethereum community since 2014, establishing the Ethereum Amsterdam Meetup, and possesses a deep appreciation for blockchain technology, cryptoeconomics and the movement towards libre software.

I'm looking very much forward to an interesting and insightful discussion with Sharrad, and hope to see many of you at the event. The event starts at 6:30 pm.
