Meet Enterprise Ethereum Alliance

With apologies for the short notice, as Dan Burnett, the Executive Director of the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance, is in Switzerland this weekend on his way back from EthCC, we wanted to give you the opportunity to join us for an in-person meetup with him and the Zurich-based Tom Lyons, the EEA’s Director of Communications.

The EEA is the leading industry association focused on developing standards for and supporting the adoption of public Ethereum and the broader Ethereum ecosystem for businesses. Founded in 2017 by a number of large corporations and blockchain startups – including JPMorgan, Microsoft, ConsenSys and the Ethereum Foundation (with companies like Palm NFT Studios and EY Blockchain having more recently joined the Board) – it has evolved into a broad-based, member-driven organization promoting the use of Ethereum as a business platform by all businesses large and small.

This Meetup does not have a fixed agenda, but is designed as an informal get-together and discussion.

Dan and Tom will start with a fireside chat where they will share their insights with you around the evolution of Ethereum and the broader Ethereum ecosystem as a business platform, as well as the activities of the EEA’s working groups and its research efforts (including insights from the EEA’s Ethereum Business Readiness Report).

Then we will open it up for a discussion round where you can ask any questions you like. Dan and Tom are also keen to hear from the Swiss Ethereum and blockchain community about any challenges and issues you face fostering the adoption of Ethereum and to get your input into how the EEA might help you.
