Kevin Owocki on Greenpill and Gitcoin

We're pleased to welcome Kevin Owocki to speak on Greenpill, how he started Gitcoin, and his new company Supermodular, which is a web3 venture studio. Kevin is a computer scientist who spent 15 years working in engineering leadership and as CTO in Web2. He co-founded Gitcoin in 2017 to fund a positive-sum ecosystem supported by public goods. Gitcoin became a DAO and Kevin disaffiliated from leadership in 2022 when he went on to found Supermodular. Kevin is the host of the Green Pill podcast and co-author of a Green Pill book focused on regenerative cryptoeconomics which includes forewords by Vitalik Buterin, Glen Weyl, and Balaji Srinivasan.

On Sunday, June 25, Kevin will join us to answer questions and speak to GreenPill v2 which is launching as GreenPill.Network. He will cover the why, the what, the how, and the opportunity web3 gives us to program our values into our money. Other topics will be: "How do we build a more pro-social, pro-environmental, protopian web3 and how do we rotate capital, attention, and resources to regenerative web3 projects?"
