EHSR April Meeting
The topic for this month's meeting was inspired by an article in the New York Times, "Should Patients Be Allowed to Die from Anorexia?" (https://www.nytimes.com/2024/01/03/magazine/palliative-psychiatry.html) Our discussion leaders will be Dr. Richard Kreipe and Dean Amy Campbell. Dr. Kreipe is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Rochester. Dean Campbell is the inaugural Associate Dean for Law & Health Sciences, and Professor of Law at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law (www.law.uic.edu/profiles/campbell-amy/). They will discuss an interdisciplinary, life-affirming approach to the treatment of eating disorders.
