A platform/presentation meeting of the Ethical Humanist Society of Asheville is held every third Sunday of the month, 2:30-4:00 PM

The topic and speaker(s) for this month's meeting will be added closer to the time of the meeting. All are welcome to attend.

Informal discussion and refreshments will follow the presentation.

The Ethical Humanist Society of Asheville endeavors to nurture the capacity and responsibility of human beings to act in their personal relationships and in the larger community to help create a better world. We are inspired by the ideal of working to create a more humane society, recognizing each person’s worth and dignity, and helping to bring out the best in him or her. Weddings and Ceremonies Officiated:
The Ethical Humanist Society of Asheville offers individualized, custom wedding services. Joy McConnell, Ethical Culture Leader (clergy/celebrant), and Jackie Simms, Ethical Culture Officiant and Humanist Celebrant, are available to perform wedding (and other significant life event) ceremonies. Joy contributes a portion of the officiating charge to the Ethical Humanist Society of Asheville. Honoraria for Jackie's officiating are direct contributions to the Ethical Humanist Society of Asheville, a 501(c)(3) organization. Both Joy and Jackie love officiating weddings, so please spread the word.
