What we’re about
TriDIY Hackerspace is a community for anyone in the Triangle who loves building things — from Raspberry Pi projects and Arduinos to homelabs, 3D printing, robotics, open-source tools, or whatever random device you’re hacking together this week.
Whether you’re a total beginner or a lifelong tinkerer, this is a space to experiment, learn, and work alongside people who get excited about weird side-projects. Bring something you’re working on, something that’s half broken, or something you want help figuring out. It all fits here.
We’re committed to being a women-friendly, LGBTQ+-friendly, beginner-friendly makerspace. Tech can be intimidating — this group shouldn’t be. If you’re curious, you belong.
Upcoming events will include things like:
• build nights
• “new maker” intro workshops
• women’s and femme-focused meetups
• bring-your-project work sessions
• Pi/Arduino experiments
• 3D printing and design nights
• open-source collaboration jams
If you’re in Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, or anywhere nearby and want a welcoming place to make cool things with cool people — come hang out with us.
