Ethical Citizens: Local Issues

The Third Commitment of Ethical Culture states, “We Choose to Treat Each Other as Ends, not Means. To enable us to be whole in a fragmented world, we choose to treat each other as unique individuals having intrinsic worth.” We’ve frequently talked about what that means in our interpersonal relationships, but what does it mean for us at a citizen level?

Hans Maverick, long time activist and ESoA member, will discuss two important issues: AI powered mass surveillance, and local law enforcement’s cooperation with Immigration and Border Patrol activities. He’ll outline why you should care and what you can do.
