Today’s talk by renowned philosopher Massimo Pigliucci continues our three-week Philosopher’s Series, offering food for thought from noted philosophers as well as brunch!
Massimo, a leading voice in practical philosophy and a professor at City College of New York, will discuss ideas in his latest book, “Beyond Stoicism: A Guide to the Good Life with Stoics, Skeptics, Epicureans, and Other Ancient Philosophers.”
Pigliucci, also the author of “How to Be a Stoic,” writes the popular Art of Living column in “Philosophy Now” magazine.
Brunch at 10 am
Doors open at 10 am for an optional brunch ($12 per person), featuring classic Western favorites alongside Mediterranean-inspired dishes, a tasty tribute to philosophy’s ancient roots. Reservations are recommended for brunch. Please email curt@ethicalfocus.org to reserve your spot.

The first talk, “The Changing Nature of Work in an Age of AI” by Society Leader Curt Collier, who also teaches ethics and philosophy of science at Fairleigh Dickinson University, is July 27.
