Sunday Gathering: Empty Bowls

Continuing our Family & Friends Circle theme for the season, “Creativity in Action,” this morning members and guests of all generations will make and glaze clay bowls. The youngest participants will make a bowl with a teen assistant.

Afterward, the bowls will be fired and then used as part of a fundraiser on Nov. 23, when soup and the bowls will be sold. Proceeds will be used to buy supermarket cards for families with a relative at Delaney Hall in Newark.

Empty Bowls is an international project, personalized by artists and organizations on a community level, to fight hunger. We hope you can join us!
